Alcohol (ethanol, methanol, rubbing alcohol)
Somewhat common among performers.
Very clean burning in pure state, though often used for dissolving flame colorants which introduces toxicity variables. Only “uncolored” alcohols should be used indoors.
Only Methanol is dangerous in open vapors, ethanol effects are commonly known, vapor limitation is recommended for all.
Provides weak flame that is easily extinguished.
